Protect valuable data with a Privacy, Access, and Information Management certificate

As privacy breaches become more and more common, we need smart, savvy professionals trained and at the ready to safeguard our privacy and data 24/7. The information management field is fast-growing – and these professionals are very much in demand. The Chang School has just the training you need to succeed in the information management industry. Our Certificate in Privacy, Access, and Information Management will help you master privacy regulations and acquire the practical and operational skills to become a sought-after privacy and data protection pro.

During this privacy certificate, you’ll learn how to conduct privacy risk assessments, and develop and implement privacy programs. Build your data privacy training in information access and privacy protection, privacy design, and applying privacy access. We want all our learners to receive a well-rounded education, so we offer an exciting variety of electives designed to make you as in-demand in the marketplace as possible. Diverse information management courses in subjects like public relations principles, IT infrastructure, business law, and organizational behaviour will prep you for a wide range of opportunities. Interested in the healthcare sphere? We offer courses in health informatics and health information access and privacy as well.

The privacy certificate can be completed online at your own pace, with in-person exams, and finished in two years or less. Our information management courses are taught by senior privacy professionals, and offer plenty of practical assignments that incorporate real-world issues, including a capstone course where learners can apply privacy and access principles to a project focused on an emerging technology within a particular sector they’re interested in.

Ready to get started? Let’s start your privacy education, today.
