What will you learn while taking the Social Sciences and Humanities Foundations certificate?
You’ll learn how to:

Certificate Requirements
- 2 required courses: CSSH 105 and CSSH 205
- 4 electives: 2 in Group A – Humanities and 2 in Group B – Social Sciences**
- Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 1.67+
**Learners may select a course in Arabic (CARB), American Sign Language (CASL), Chinese (CCHN), French (CFRE), or Spanish (CSPN) as part of the Electives – Humanities category. However, an online placement test is required; visit the Department’s website for details.
Admission Criteria
Recommended:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent
- With 6 Grade 12 U or M credits
OR
- Mature student status
Note: If you do not meet the above stated admission criteria, you must complete as one of your four electives CENG 110.
