Course DescriptionThis is an introductory course to economics. This course concerned with basic concepts of levels of national income, employment and prices, the business cycle, factors affecting economic growth and international trade. It also includes a critical analysis of monetary and fiscal policies designed to achieve the established goals. There will be an emphasis on international economics and finance covering topics such as open-economy macroeconomics.
