Course DescriptionAn advanced course on codes and regulations governing planning, design, and construction in Canada. Municipal planning by-laws, the Ontario/National Building Codes, standards, and other regulatory documents will be examined in detail. The application process in obtaining permits and approvals for development will also be examined. Students will be expected to complete a code analysis of a small building.
