Course Description

This course examines religion from a philosophical perspective. By examining historical and contemporary readings, students will grapple with questions like these: Is there an ultimate religious reality, and if so, what is it like? Can one prove, or disprove, that God exists? What is faith, and how does it relate to reason? What happens after we die? Do miracles happen? How should we understand religious diversity?
