CSPI 813 - Building a Character

Course Description

Participants will create a completely original character through sensory, emotional, and prompted writing exercises. Using an everyday object and easily graduating into character voice development will allow participants to effortlessly incorporate their character voice into an original monologue or scene. Participants will walk away with a unique creation that is their own, as well as a potential muse for new work(s) after completion of the class. This process will emphasize collaboration, and highlight the humanity of shared storytelling.
