Course Description

Audio drama is having a resurgence via on-line streaming and podcasts. Writing stories meant for listeners is a specialized skill.  The instructor, who has written, produced, directed and story-edited over 100 CBC audio dramas, will guide you through the process of creating a 5-minute recording-ready piece.  You’ll learn what makes a good audio drama, how to create pictures through sound, adapt existing plays, and get tips on recording with limited technology.
