Course Description

Location analysis and intelligence planning while leveraging proprietary and open source big data repositories allow businesses to optimize geographic, evidence-based decision-making for new venue installations such as future stores. This course covers location insight software tools, querying huge data repositories with location data together with algorithms to perform predictive analytics that give business advantages such as reducing costs and increasing location-based profit. Skills taught include R, Hadoop, Big Data Tools, GoogleMaps Analytics, and Location Mechanisms.
