Course DescriptionAll levels of government in Canada rely on a number of sources of scientific information in order to create, modify or update public policy. This course will examine the processes by which government seeks, collects and/or commissions scientific information and how government policy is influenced by scientific information. This course will examine case studies of specific government policies that shape and/or are shaped by scientific information and data collection.
