Course DescriptionThis novel approach to scene study helps actors avoid falling into patterns. It will heighten focus, listening, spontaneity, and commitment to intentions. You'll play your intentions against a constantly shifting array of scene partners who bring new impulses and information to the scene. Each actor will learn one of two parts in the same scene. Parts in the first scene will be assigned before the class. Class limit: 8 students.
Instructor: Richard Beaune
Arrive to class having read Albee's "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf".
