Course Description

Smartphone cameras - helped by apps - are now capable of producing hollywood-calibre films, scintillating brand content and engaging social content. This course develops fluency in smartphone filmmaking; topics include cinematography, composition, lighting, audio and motion, mobile content editing and post-production. Students leave this course with an ability to create fresh and engaging social content, film events, enhance presentations and product demonstrations, and/or breathe life into storyboards. Participation in this course requires a smartphone (iphone or android, of any year) and purchase of the Filmic Pro app, which turns your smartphone camera into a powerful DSLR-like film camera. No previous, related, experience is required.
