Course DescriptionThis course will cover chemical and biogeochemical processes in the pristine and stressed environment. The course will deal with the mechanisms which pertain to the dispersion and fate of both naturally occurring and xenobiotic compounds in the environment. Atmospheric pollution is assessed in terms of sources, transport mechanisms, chemical reactivity, loss mechanisms, and effects on the physical and biological environment.
