Music can help reduce anxiety and connect with loved ones — something many people need right now during the COVID-19 pandemic. In this workshop, participants will learn mindfulness techniques that utilize music to help them find a deeper state of relaxation.
They will also write messages for their loved ones and learn how to turn these messages into short, meaningful songs to send to their friends and family. During these activities, participants will learn about the biological and neurological reasons that make music such a versatile and useful tool to reduce anxiety and form social connections.
