REMINDER: Building access changes for EPH, SHE, RCC, and VIC come into effect November 1, 2019

Beginning Friday, November 1, 2019, Ryerson will implement a pilot project that will change the way community members access four Ryerson buildings in the evenings during the week. Weekend access to these buildings will not be affected by this pilot.

With this change, you will require a OneCard to enter the following buildings on weekdays from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.:

  • Eric Palin Hall (EPH): 87 Gerrard Street East
  • Sally Horsfall Eaton Centre for Studies in Community Health (SHE): 99 Gerrard Street East
  • Rogers Communications Centre (RCC): 80 Gould Street
  • Victoria Building (VIC): 285 Victoria Street

OneCard Info
Students and employees who require access to these buildings but do not currently have a OneCard will need to obtain one from the OneCard Office.* As long as you are an active student or employee, your OneCard will grant you access to these buildings. There is no cost associated with applying for a new OneCard. A replacement OneCard may be obtained for $35 from the OneCard Office.

*Please note that some OneCards previously issued to Chang School students do not have the RFID chip required for building access. Chang School students are encouraged to visit the building access pilot project webpage to determine whether they will require a replacement OneCard. There is no charge associated with obtaining a OneCard with an RFID chip.

Forgot Your OneCard?
After November 1, if you don’t have your OneCard but need to enter one of the four buildings between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., use the intercoms located at entrances and exits to connect with a member of Ryerson Security. You will be asked to verify your identity and affiliation before being granted access to the building. Valid forms of identification besides your OneCard include any photo identification combined with documentation stating your name and Ryerson student or employee numbers.
