Update Your Records

If your name, address, email address, or home/business telephone number changes after you enrol, you must let us know as soon as possible.

Your up-to-date record allows us to notify you promptly of a cancelled course or class session. Students enrolled in online courses will receive an email confirming their enrolment; therefore, it is especially important that your current email address is correct and valid.

Name Changes

If you legally change your name, or your name is incorrect/incomplete in Toronto Metropolitan’s records, it is your responsibility to notify us. The name on your Toronto Metropolitan record is the name that will appear on your official transcript and on your graduation document.

To change your name, you must submit Toronto Metropolitan’s Personal Data Change Form. Name changes cannot be submitted online or by fax. Further information about identity management can be found at Identity Management and Personal Info.

Address and Phone Number Changes

You can update your address and phone number online at my.torontomu.ca.

Changes will not be accepted by phone or email.
